Obituary for Brenda L. Schoff

Arundel

Brenda Lee Schoff, 55 years, a resident of Old Post Road, Arundel, died Friday, March 7, 2014 at Southern Maine Health Care following a long illness.

Brenda was born September 16, 1958 in Salem MA, a daughter of Clifford Allen and Mary (Bezinsky) Whicher, Sr.

She graduated from Danvers High School, and went on to receive her CNA Certificate and worked at Danvers State Hospital as a Certified Nurses Assistant for 3 years. She then moved to Maine in 1991 where she worked at Huntington Common for several years as a prep cook in their kitchen. She also worked as a cashier at The Big Apple Gas Station in Arundel for several years.

Brenda loved gardening and bird watching and especially loved to go fishing with her husband.

She was predeceased by her parents, as well as her beloved dog, Genie, who passed away less than a year ago.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 20 years, Allen L. “Willie” Schoff of Arundel; a brother Clifford A. Whicher, Jr. of Rowley, MA; a sister Margaret Nunes of Danvers, MA; a niece and two nephews, all of MA; and several close friends.

Memorial visitation will be held Friday, March 14, 2014 from 1-2PM at Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer Street, Kennebunk, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 2PM at the Chapel.
