Condolence From: Al Sulla
Condolence: I was shocked and saddened to hear of Bob's passing. He was a tireless public servant. We worked side by side on many FEMA disasters and I have never found a sweeter, kinder more gentle, even-handed man than Bob. As a FEMA Chief of Staff there was no finer. He would share his vast knowledge willingly and with gusto, much like a tool rather than a sword. As there are no disasters in heaven to mitigate please enjoy a well deserved eternal rest. You will be sorely missed, however your family can be comforted forever by your memory. Sleep well, my friend. V/R Alfred T. Sulla

Condolence: My sincere condolences to Bob's family and friends. The Bob Bohlmann I knew was a kind man who put others first as many have said. He helped raise up and mentor, in various ways, many over his long and distinguished career. He was a leader in the emergency management community and earned respect at town, county, state, and federal emergency management levels through his hard work, selflessness, and dedication to that community and those they serve. He made the lives of many better and he did it quietly, with grace and a smile; for me that's the biggest compliment a person can get. RIP Bob. Your life was lived well.

Condolence: So sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I first met Bob in the mid '70s when he ran the security program for Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station. We both went different ways and met up once more about 35 years later in the Westfield, Mass, JFO about the time of the tornado. Even though much time had passed, Bob hadn't changed one bit. Rest in peace old friend.
