Condolence: Dear Beth and Family, my deepest sympathy to you all. Kevin was always so sweet, kind, and helpful. When he smiled the room lit up around him because he was just so genuine. I loved to hear about his adventures, parties and what he was going to cook next. He will be remembered very fondly and it was an honor to know him. Jess DeLeon

Condolence: Dear Beth and family,

Words can express the sorrow I feel with Kevin's passing. First off, I am Kevin's first cousin and spent many times staying with the Elwell family. Growing up, Kevin and I became close especially during the summer on Plum Island. We would walk to the small store on hot days to get Italian Ice. This was my first experience with this refreshing concoction and since those days, every time I have an Italian Ice, I think of Kev. We would continue down to the fishing docks and wait for the boats to come in, watch the fisherman cut the heads off fish, then we would joyfully fling them at the seagulls. Such great memories. I hope memories that you shared will be the most comforting for you during this very sad time.

Condolence From: Lynnie (Evelyn Uyemura)
Condolence: Dear Beth,

The only consolation is how happy you and Kevin have been the past several years, your beautiful wedding in Hawaii, and family trips there and to Jamaica, building your beautiful house, and so much hospitality you offered to everyone. I know these have been the best years of his life, and I hope the memories will sustain you.

Love,
Lynnie

Condolence: I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of Kevin. I worked with him at my first job in the kitchen at York Hospital. He was always so patient and kind. I had left that job and I ran into Kevin over 10 year later and he remembered my name and took the time to stop and ask how I had been with a smile and non-rushed ear. That meant so much to me as a young adult since all too often it seems that people forget you. I have thought about how that moment made me feel many times in my life and have always tried to make others feel as special as Kevin always went out of his way to do. He left many smiles and warm feelings in this world, and I'm sorry for the loss of those who had the pleasure to hold him closest in their hearts.
