KENNEBUNK

Ernest W. Brown, Sr, 73, a lifetime resident of Kennebunk, Died Thursday, June 28, 2018 at his residence.

Ernest was born in Biddeford March 14, 1945, the son of Russell N and Gertrude Perry Brown, and attended Kennebunk High School.

He is a veteran of the US Army, serving in Vietnam.

Ernest was employed by CarQuest in Kennebunk and Sanford for many years before joining Richard Lovejoy Contractors, which he enjoyed working for and even upon retirement, would still go in when an extra hand was needed on a project.

He is predeceased by his wife, Patricia Corson Brown, who died August 6, 2016.

Survivors include his son Ernest W. Brown Jr of Kennebunk, and two daughters Frances Lamontagne of Porter and Michelle Sullivan of Woburn, MA; siblings Russell W. Brown and wife Cathy of West Kennebunk, Nancy L. Bshara and husband John, Jr., of Alfred, David A. Brown and wife Ann of Kennebunk, Gloria J. Pruneau and husband “Moe” of Newport News, VA, Rosemary Plante and husband Tom of Kennebunk, Nelson Brown of Kennebunk, Ella Morin and husband Rich of Lyman, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
