Yvette R. Chabot, 70, of Lebanon, died Sunday evening, July 8, 2018 at her daughter’s residence in Berwick. She was born on October 21, 1947, a daughter of Francis J. and Gloria J. (Mathews) Meattey. She grew up and was educated in Berwick.

On August 10, 1963, she married William E. Chabot, Sr. They were looking forward to their 55th wedding anniversary this year.

Early in her career, Yvette worked for Davidson Rubber Company. She then earned her CNA certificate, and was employed for several years at Rochester Manor.

In her free time, she enjoyed volunteering, especially conducting yard sales for Victims, Inc., in Rochester. In addition to cooking and the beach, she was an avid Bingo player.

She is predeceased by her father, Francis J. Meattey; her mother, Gloria J. (Mathews) Meattey; a brother, Wayne F. Meattey; and a sister, Cindy Lou Meattey.

Yvette is survived by her loving husband of nearly 55 years, William E. Chabot, Sr., of Lebanon; three sons, William E. Chabot, Jr., of Lebanon, Troy E. Chabot of Lebanon, and Roy E. Chabot of Milton, NH; two daughters, Michelle Phan of Berwick and Amanda Khon of Lowell, MA; a brother, Brian B. Meattey of Milton, NH; two sisters, Shirley Jacques of Berwick and Lisa Libby of Lebanon; seven grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A period of visitation will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Laing-Bibber Funeral Chapel, 36 Rochester Street, Berwick. At 6:30 p.m., memories and stories will be shared.
