Obituary for Deborah Anne Stone

Deborah Anne Stone
Deborah Anne Stone, 65 years, of Kennebunkport, died August 17, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.
Deborah was born January 24, 1953 in New York City, a twin daughter of Alfred and Sheila Stone. She earned her Associate’s Degree from Fisher Junior College and her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of New England. Deborah was an Ed Tech at Kennebunk High School and was very proud of her recent promotion from Ed Tech II to Ed Tech III.
Deborah loved spending time with her family and was a proud Nana to her grandchildren. She enjoyed walking along the beach and shoreline of Goose Rocks Beach and Biddeford Pool. Deborah also enjoyed gardening and after years of study became a Master Gardener. She used her skills in her own gardens, as well as created beautiful gardens and helped others through the Gardening Angels Program.
Deborah is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Heather Brennon Taylor and her husband, James of Del Norte, CO and Sarah Jean Schuler and her husband, Jared, of Natick, MA; her father, Alfred Benjamin Stone of Palm Desert, CA; her twin sister, Donna Stone Arpels and her husband, John, of Kennebunk; her brother, Christopher Stone of Punta Gorda, FL; her grandchildren, Kellan and Everly Schuler; and her beloved partner, Robert Boucher.
Friends may visit from 4-7 pm on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer Street, Kennebunk, ME. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday, August 24 at South Congregational Church, 2 North Street, Kennebunkport with Reverend Charles Whiston.
In keeping with Deborah’s love of gardening, floral expressions of sympathy will be greatly appreciated; however, if you would prefer to give a memorial donation for Deborah, donations may be made to the Children’s Section of the Louis T. Graves Memorial Public Library, 18 Maine Street, Kennebunkport, ME 04046.
