I have so many memories of Ginny peppered through my childhood. For me,one of my strongest memories was our mutual enjoyment of Stephen King novels...when Ginny was visiting with us one night, she saw me reading one of his books. Without missing a beat, she began to outline for me the novels from goriest to the most psychologically thrilling. She even recommended daytime reading for some of his scariest. Thankfully, she prepared me well for The Shining. I thought of her just last week when I was in the bookstore....Finally a sequel to the Shining. I know she would have liked reading it.
Though there are many fond stories....a 50th party she shared with my dad, card games, new year parties, etc I chose to remember her with Stephen King, as it was one of our first connections that we had when i felt like a "grown Up" (I think I may have been 12 at the time) Thank you Ginny, for being such a good friend to my parents, and for always having a kind smile for me. We will miss you
