Condolences

Condolence From: Dorothy Emerson
Condolence: I'm so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. I know he was struggling, but he still seemed so full of life. My heart goes out to Judy and family. May you find peace and healing. Donna and I have another event that day, so we will only be at his memorial in spirit, but know that we will be thinking of you and sending our love.

Condolence: Judith, a flood of vivid, warm memories came into my mind when I learned of Paul's death. His generous spirit and hearty sense of humor touched so many folks and I am grateful to be one of them. Sending you, beloved colleague, my warm regards and and tribute to a unique dear soul, who made our world a better place. He lives on in all of us, most of all you and your family. Sending the blessings of well being, peace and love your way. Colorado Springs is too far, or I would so enjoy being present for the celebration of his wondrous life.

Condolence From: Dick Gilbert
Condolence: Judy, I am saddened, but not surprised, at Paul's death. I remember how frail - but how game - he was at last fall's UURMAPA conference in Attloboro. But he had not lost his sense of humor or good spirit. I remember him so well from Rochester - he was congregational president at one time. As I recall it was during one of our celebrations of Susan B. Anthony - more specifically the dedication of the Lounge in her honor. I think I have the whole ceremony, including Paul's words. A good guy, committed UU and a friend. Joyce and I send our best to you, and hope we'll see you in Attleboro in October.

Love,
Joyce and Dick Gilbert

Condolence: Judith and family near and far -
So many memories of Monty come to mind - swimming, boating, campfires at the Lake to his very late arrival to our house near Binghamton with a pounding on the front door. His warm infectious smile and boisterous laughter will never be forgotten and dearly missed. He teased all of us incessantly when we were young but we knew it was out of his affection for us.
I am certain he has left you all with copious memories, may they remind you to embrace your families and share the love you have for each other and life. You know Monty would want that. Love and hugs to you all!
Pam - cousin
