To say that Bill Talmage was my uncle is like saying that Ted Williams could hit a baseball. He was always fun to be around; and from a very early age, I thought of Uncle Bill as the guy, whose head almost scraped the ceiling (later on, so did mine), who loved to laugh, and who always had interesting gadgets to explore on his desk and on his workbench. He was one of a kind; and I will miss him very much.
